ABOUT US

Our story

Marsden Health began as Suffolk Clinic, founded in 1985 by Roger Beresford as a small acupuncture clinic. Over the years, it grew into a trusted hub for sports therapy and rehabilitation, helping people recover from acute injuries and maintain their physical health.

In 2024, Ari Marsden took the helm with a bold vision: to create a multidisciplinary clinic where health specialists collaborate to support the whole person – physically and mentally. And thus, Marsden Health was born.

This approach was inspired by Ari’s experience working with Coventry Rugby, where athletes have access to a fully integrated support team – including physiotherapists, sports rehabilitators, sports therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and nutritionists. This collaborative model allows players to perform at their best and recover safely from injuries.

Here, at Marden Health, we believe everyone deserves access to this level of care. We work as a multidisciplinary team to help you understand your body, rebuild confidence in movement, and safely return to the activities that matter most to you. Complex areas such as musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain, and respiratory recovery benefit from a collaborative approach. From shockwave therapy and dry needling to functional rehabilitation and strength-based recovery, our clinicians work across specialities with a shared focus on sustainable, long-term outcomes.

An individualised approach to recovery, performance, and long-term health

Understanding your pain is one of the most important steps in effective rehabilitation. At your initial consultation, we’ll ask about your medical history, health goals, and how your pain is affecting your day-to-day life. During this one-to-one appointment, we’ll assess your range and quality of movement, as well as your strength and mobility. You’ll leave with a clear, easy-to-understand explanation of what’s driving your pain and an individualised treatment plan outlining the next steps – no guessing and no generic advice.

Follow-up sessions will track progress, with your plan adjusted as needed. Throughout your care, you will receive clear explanations of your condition and practical guidance on how to support your recovery between sessions.

FREE TELEPHONE CONSULTATION

A no-obligation phone call where you can talk through what’s been going on, ask any questions, and see if we’re the right fit for you. We’ll offer guidance to help you make an informed decision.
