Sports massage provides a space to reconnect with your body, release stress, and cultivate ease and balance – supporting both mental and physical wellbeing. By keeping soft tissue healthy and supple, you help reduce the risk of strains, sprains, and overuse injuries that can derail progress.
It’s not just for acute injuries or athletic performance – sports massage is a foundational practice for long-term musculoskeletal health, supporting posture, mobility, and joint integrity over time. Regular treatments make it easier to stay active, mobile, and injury-free.
We offer flexible, targeted session lengths, ranging from 30 to 90 minutes. For deeper relief and recovery, you can enhance your session with add-ons such as dry needling (to target muscle knots), cupping therapy (to increase circulation), or shockwave therapy (for stubborn tension or tendon issues).
Some of the hands-on techniques we use
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle tissue, fascia, and tendons to combat chronic tension, muscle knots, and adhesions (areas where muscle fibres have become stuck together).
TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
Trigger point therapy involves applying focused pressure to hyper-irritable spots within a muscle. These can cause localised pain or discomfort in other areas of the body. This technique involves applying pressure to specific trigger points to deactivate them and restore normal muscle tone.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE TECHNIQUES
Myofascial release techniques target the fascia: the thin, elastic connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs. It involves sustained, gentle pressure to stretch and soften the area.
SOFT TISSUE RELEASE (STR)
(STR) combines precise pressure with active or passive stretching to break down adhesions and relieve tension within muscles and tendons. By targeting specific muscle fibres while lengthened, this technique improves flexibility, range of motion, and neuromuscular efficiency.
MUSCLE ENERGY TECHNIQUES
(METs) are advanced, gentle techniques that use client muscle contractions against a practitioner’s resistance to mobilise joints and stretch tight muscles. METs are especially beneficial in improving functional movement and correcting postural issues without causing additional strain.
PERCUSSION AND TAPOTEMENT TECHNIQUES
Percussion and tapotement techniques use rhythmic tapping, pounding, or cupping movements to stimulate the nervous system and enhance blood flow. Percussion and tapotement techniques help “wake up” the body before physical activity.
Reviews
Booked a 60-minute massage appointment based on the excellent reviews and was very impressed. Ari was easy-going, professional, and excellent at his job. As someone who pretty much sucked in my breath at every single muscle being tight and messed up, I genuinely felt the difference from the minute I walked back out to my car.

I’ve been a client of this clinic for a while now. They’re friendly, accommodating, informative, supportive, and their work always has amazing results. They always go the extra mile, which I really appreciate. Thank you for your outstanding support
— Earl
Her technique was both effective and precise, applying the right amount of pressure to relieve muscle soreness without discomfort. I left the session feeling noticeably looser, with a significant improvement in my mobility. Bea’s professionalism, knowledge, and friendly approach made the entire experience excellent.
— Marius-Adrian
I began sessions with Ari to help with shoulder pain. He is excellent at identifying issues, offering spot on massage, acupuncture, shockwave treatment and recommendations for exercises. These are now supported with short videos. Very friendly and supportive sessions: I now visit once a month.
